    1:31 in my opinion, maybe slightly over 1:30. Not sure about less than 1:30.

    Depends what tires they put it on. If it's the new, manufacturer-supplied-for-test-day tire of choice, I bet it does 1:27.

People aren't interested in details, they look at the numbers and are done.

    Lamborghini should have never provided a testcar for AutoBILD Sportscars without sport tires.

    Look at McLaren: They openly(!) refused to provide a 540S testcar because they said(!) that they do not want to loose again vs. Porsche. The comparison was supposed to be against the 991.2 Turbo (not S). This is not a rumor, this is a fact. McLaren knows how the media attention works and they avoid everything which could put them into a bad light. Lamborghini apparently doesn't have a clue about this...or they just don't care. Whatever.

    When you have these kind of owners with that type of attitude, don't expect Lambo to update their transmission and reduce weight. It's basically the same car with minor updates, that's how I see it Smiley

    I wouldn't consider 0.5 ~ 1.0s in acceleration mind blowing with close to 1800 kg Smiley but if I was in a position to choose between a Lambo and the competition which has switched to Turbochargers, I'd rather wait for them to drop a DCT in the V12 or an optional Manual Transmission, otherwise it's the Performante + GT3 w/Manual.

    No matter how many times they'll say the ISR has been improved and shifts a lot faster, it still gets a big fat zero next to a DCT Transmission.

    I assume that developing a DCT for the remaining years of life isn't worth it.

    We are going to see DCT in the next Aventador generation, I am pretty sure about it.

    That's the main problem, it takes them a decade to do the right thing enlightened

    I still hear of some going into limp mode, which is very annoying and PITA if no recovery is nearby.

    For normal roads...yes...amazing, incl. in the rain (not even sure the Aventador S has the PZ4 but I assume it does).


    The latest Pzeros are said to be on par with the old Corsas.

    Who said that? Certainly not me. You are confusing the PZero N1 tires for latest Porsche models with the ordinary PZero PZ4. The Porsche versions are great in the dry but kind of suck on wet pavement. Since Sport Auto abandoned the wet testing, I assume Porsche and other manufacturers thought: What the heck, let's concentrate on dry performance, what do we care about rainy roads since all our drivers are real pros and can measure the depth of a water puddle by just looking at them?! Smiley

    The new Corsa N0 (Porsche) is also an excellent tire but I don't have a clue how good (or bad) the Corsa is on other cars, like for example the new Huracan Performante (would love to see a review with the Corsa but I'm afraid in the case of the Performante, all reviews will be done with the optional Trofeo R).

    New info

    These new P Zeros with "L" specification were developed only for Lambos, they are very close to the old Corsa in terms of grip and performance, but much better at wet conditions. Corsa is still an option.

    And as a reminder: this is the 4th quickest time by a car on normal road tyres at Hockenheimring...

    I didn't say the Aventador S was slow. It is only unfortunate that Lamborghini chose to let car journalists review this car on road tires, while most other car mamufacturers choose to use semi-slicks or even specifically designed semi-slicks to achieve the best times possible.

    In the end, the test results (numbers) count because 95% of the readers out there aren't like us here, they do not care about the details (tires, etc. used), they care about the numbers only!
