Maybe it looks better in black? Smiley Smiley

Seriously: I think that this design is very color sensitive, so let's wait for more photos.

    Max speed is 341km/h.

    Dimensions are ok.

0-300 kph in 21.4 s is really impressive but the more I look at this car, the more I think that neither the color nor the great specs can save it. Smiley Smiley Maybe there is a (small) chance that they are going back to the drawing board and save the front of this car? I agree with you. Design wise car is a mess. Just... UK press will rave about it. Some already called it a beauty...

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

Looking at the video makes me kind of like the car. A lot of cool details. The looks I guess you need to get used to.

Washing it is going to be hard work :-)

Look at this photo... I think I realize where the problem with the new design lies: Actually, if you look at it from a closer distance, it looks good. Once you get farer away from the car, it starts to look hideous. I bet the designers never saw the car from afar.

Don't say I didn't warn you about the front! The rest of it is really excellent. The front gets better in person though. Looks like McLaren has sacrificed the front at the altar of aero and Ferrari has done the same with the rear on the 812 superfast.

It is also cheaper and sounds better but it may not be as fast...on the Autobahn. Smiley Smiley

The new kings of aero !

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

All you need to do is have MSO paint the light sockets and remove all the contrasting Cf. It should look much better.

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

I think it looks good in white.

    720S Configurator

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

German base price with Mwst is 247.350,00€ which is more then ok. Add few options and 720S will end around 260K €. Not bad at all since with similar options Huracan Performance costs the same money.

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

Looks much better in other colors. The config has a ton of options.

McLaren always launches with bad colors IMO. Need to stop launching burnt orange cars.

An ugly design cannot be fixed by choosing a different color, but a beautiful design can be ruined with a nasty choice in color.

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

Sarthe Grey hides the ugly front end pretty well. But my god that's fugly from the front wheels forward. Rest of the car is good but...angry

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

Looks much better without all the CF and everything body color, which is a bonus since it makes the car much cheaper. The car should actually be quite reasonably priced in a really good spec.

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

    Better color

    720s.jpg

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

The front looks quite "business" when the lights are on though....While it may not be convetionally pretty, it is superbly futuristic and aggressive....

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

The side profile outline and cabin teardrop shape are very reminiscent of the Pagani Huayra. Another overstyled car from Mclaren who seem to be really struggling to find an identity they can develop.
