    Classic Porsche Dealers

looking for advice on reputable classic Porsche dealers mainly located in europe.....but overseas welcome too.

wanting to take my rallying a bit further, I am considering a second classic 911 model year 73-76. my current car (will keep it anyway) is a great car.....but maybe I want something with lower original mileage and more 'special' if I am going to heavily invest in the car.

    its just a thought.

I have for example contacted tuthill to see if the have Rally cars for sale.

some safari build also look good but its always an issue when going for modified cars and hence wanting to source from a reputable place so whats under the paint is as solid as the surface.

any and all advice is appreciated.

    Re: Classic Porsche Dealers

I am also looking for a classic porsche (993) for my place in Spain - i think German dealers will be best. All suggestions welcome

I am in contact with Tuthill.....however, its always good to explore all options..

My mechanic in Germany in fact is very good. he built my car from scratch and it lasted the Road to Saigon. That is a good sign. So chances are high I might just want to continue working with him.

I just might go for a second base car....versus investing more in my car as it was a high mileage base car.

    Re: Classic Porsche Dealers

THE car to have !!!!! Last year I was in contact with one of our local 911 guru  Specialist ( he does cars up to the 993 , but mostly cars from the 70’s. His place looks like a junk yard but last time I was there he was working on 3  2.7 RS , one RSR from the 70’s and had a few other unbelievable racing cars around. People come all the way from Belgium and France to have them prepare there for races or restoration. He does wonders. )

we had the plan that he prepares for me a 2.7 Carrera from 74’. He had one around that needs restauration . But sadly it fell through due to his lack of time.

To him , this car would of give  me the bigggest driving pleasure from all the road 911’s

just wanted to google age limit for Mille 2 days ago and forgot. but it should be moving. which means a 77 would be eligible in 4 years.

It`s 1957 the age limit for the Mille Miglia. Only the 356 and 550 Spyder can make it (provided they are accepted).
