Sand Beige interior user(warning, may spoil your joy of SB..

anyone find it disturbing with the reflection on the windshield?? due to the light colour of sand beige?...

    sorry for bringing this one...

Re: Sand Beige interior user(warning, may spoil your joy of SB..

Nope. Thought it would be an issue, but I don't notice it at all.

Re: Sand Beige interior user(warning, may spoil your joy of

Had it on a light grey interior once, it sucked under certain lighting conditions. You just learn to ignore it. BMW figured it out, I believe all their dashes are black on top.

Re: Sand Beige interior user(warning, may spoil your joy of SB..

I have bi-color Beige/Blk interior. Best of both worlds IMO. That said, it's hard for me to imagine the glare from SB dashboard could ever be that bad though.

Re: Sand Beige interior user(warning, may spoil your joy of SB..

As MMD said, you get used to it--I don't notice it any longer and have sand beige in my Club Coupe. Drove me nuts at first, however.

Re: Sand Beige interior user(warning, may spoil your joy of

I have sand beige interior on mine and I barely notice it at all? I suppose if you do, you get used it, but I never noticed it in the first place anyway.

Re: Sand Beige interior user(warning, may spoil your joy of

I have sand beige - never noticed it!

Re: Sand Beige interior user(warning, may spoil your joy of

In my opinion, sand beige is way too bright... so bright it looks almost plastic, similar to the gray

Re: Sand Beige interior user(warning, may spoil your joy of

    Notice the passenger window.

Re: Sand Beige interior user(warning, may spoil your joy of

I have sand beige, no problems here.

Re: Sand Beige interior user(warning, may spoil your joy of

The color is just too hot to give up over the reflection, that car is just 'Porsche Hotness'

Had Savanna Beige on Boxster, looked good, your natural is better. Went with Stone Grey next Pcar and am enjoying that. Cocoa has grown on me soooooooo much..
I love Cocoa and want to try that color...

Cocoa with Midnight Blue - now you're pushing it too far Vickie!

Re: Sand Beige interior user(warning, may spoil your joy of

I was thinking White with Cocoa!!

If at first you dont succeed, then try a different interior color!! LooooL

Cocoa rules, and Midnight Blue with Cocoa should of been my choice!!! ;-)

If it really is a big problem for you I recommend that you invest in a good pair of POLARIZED sunglasses. Yes, polarized. The polarization cut the reflection glare to almost zero when I looked through the windshield with my friends polarized sun glasses. And don't take a sales person's word for a pair being polarized. It will either say it or not, and if not and you suspect it is, then you just need to test them! (An easy way to test them is to take two pairs of the same glasses and put them lens to lens then rotate one pair. As you rotate one pair, if they are polarized, the amount of light coming through should diminish to almost zero)

Re: Sand Beige interior user(warning, may spoil your joy of

I have a 986 with sand beige; before that a BWM 325 convertable with the equivalent color; never noticed a problem.

Not sure what qualifies as a "good pair of polarized sunglasses", but the Sarengetti's I have are no different from the cheap polarized sunglasses I've got as far as seeing dash reflections. For that matter, I see dash reflections in my A6 with my naked eyes and it has an all black interior--just not as pronounced.

And I didn't say it was a big problem--when I first got the car yes, because none of my previous 5 Porsches, all 986/996's had any reflection at all (and they ran the color gamut from black, natural brown, space grey and graphite gray).

Re: Sand Beige interior user(warning, may spoil your joy of

I have Black with sand beige and never noticed the reflection.
