    This is mine. No significant mods exception made for wheels induction system and exhaust.

    My apologies for late reply but hv been very busy in the past week (not enough to avoid a major accident with the car anyway..... ). The size of tyres are those standard whereas rear wheels have bigger off set (let you know); the 4 wheels bring a total saving of 11 kilos.

    What was done as far as induction??? New intake with cone filter???
    The exhaust, what is the difference with the one than comes with the GT3???
    Is the stock GT3 exhaust, just the Porsche sport exhaust option??? Or is it something different???

    Finally, what are your overall impressions performance and sound before and after the techart mod...

    Hi guys, sorry for delay in answering but have been travelling quite a lot and on top hv been obliged to change the account due to problems with the old one.......anyway:

    yes got cone filter and Techart sporty exhaust. Shall post you more pics soon (keep them on a floppy in the office). regarding the accident I experienced how difficult can be controlling the car when you lose the rear speeding a curve on a track. The latter was Misano, the curve the last one before the straight of the starting point, the speed close to 150 kmph; when I lost the rear the car slipped into grass which did not help in reducing speed; the car crashed into a concrete wall 200m far and got the rear severely damaged; brought it back to workshop it s now under repairs and hope to get it soon.

    What have you noticed with the addition of the filter and exhaust other than the sound. Noticeable performance advantages? Regarding the cone, is it enclosed in a new air box so that cool air from the deck lid is rammed into it or is the filter out in the open inside the engine compartment? I like the idea GruppeM does with the cone enclosed in their own ram air box utilizing only the air from the outside, like the stock arrangement does. How has the exhaust note changed with the techart??? Which techart exhaust is it??? Thanks in advance. I had heard that cones could be a disadvantage performance wise at street speeds because of the hot air going into the system....Is this an old fallacy?

    No significant improvements of performance (nothing noted actually); the cone is not enclosed in any air box. Techart does not give many options regarding exhaust, mine is the one called ''sporty sound''; with cold engine the sound is awesome whereas when flat6 warm up it turns into an acceptable macho sound which I much prefer towards standard unit. Regarding reliability of air filter I have been discouraged in using it often, my idea is to return to stock air box.

    Did you consider the GruppeM air box with the cone? I am curious about it and have been unable to get any feedback on it whether good or bad. The one thing that seems promising is that the cone is enclosed in the box and air is fed into the motor the same way as stock, albeit possibly faster and less turbulent. Here's a pic of it for the GT3...

    Cool but I'm not longer interested in such a mod. Now that I need to rebuild the car's rear after the accident I'm thinking to fit Cup rear bumber (the one with the space for the exhaust left in the centre) as long as the dealer can find me an exhaust for street use too. Let you know if attempt succesfull
