Fact 1: 911 doesn't get a mid engined layout but the next Porsche sportscar platform can accommodate a mid engined layout as well, we discussed this before many months ago.
Fact 2: The R8 with bi-turbo V6 will be based on the current R8, not the new platform.
Fact 3: The new platform will be used for the next Huracan (and maybe R8...if there is going to be one) generation.
Fact 4: The next gen (992) 911 Carrera will not get 540 hp. Ever. Also, the V6 bi-turbo stays a flat six engine. It is a Porsche "signature" engine for the 911. The R8 surely won't get a flat six.
