There are 2 options! The Sports Chrono Package is for those cars not fitted with PCM and Sports Chrono Plus for cars that are. However, in the case of the 997, only the latter is fitted because PCM is standard; but for Boxster and Cayman, both options are available. The 'Plus' facility allows timing infdormation to be recorded and displayed on the PCM screen.

Delbox is absolutely correct. Further, the "Plus" allows you to customize several settings to one or the other key, including rainsensing wiper, climate control, daytime running light preferences, etc.
