    Stiff clutch on 997 turbo

     I went to start the 997 turbo and depressed the clutch before turning the ignition key. The clutch pedal was stiff as a rock. no  hydraulic assist present. I went ahead and depressed the clutch and started the car then the clutch pedal resumed its normal pressure. Has anyone had a similar experience?

    It is a hydraulic clutch so the pressure inside the assist mechanism will drop over time when the car is off. The mechanism was repressurized when you turned the car on so it resumed its normal feel. Not something to worry about.
