    997 Pics - Part 2, St Andrews day out!

    So, further to my luck this week in securing a 911 loan car while my Boxster was in for warranty work, I managed to take the day off. It's not every day i get to drive a 911 so why not!!

    Here are some pics up the coast in Fife, Scotland - what an amazing (but cold) day for driving and the weather!

    Steve, the colour reproduction of the camera your using is incredible. Do you mind me barging in on the thread and asking what camera you use?

    It's a Canon 350D with a Sigma ultra-wide angle lens. The colour and detail are pretty good from the camera but you need to bring them up with photoshop. The difference is quite dramatic but worth it!!

    I think it's midnight blue, but not sure. It's a bit purple.

    Steve R., this is simply an award winning photo (even with the car in it!!). Porsche should be paying you for these...wondering if you pshopped the 2nd floor window to match the blue of the car.. whether did or not, it is brilliant use of color.

    Thanks very much! This shot was pretty clean and just needed some depth and contrast adjustment! Colours were pretty much there already!

    I really would like to try to get some photography work - just for fun more than anything. I used to do a lot of photo work but on the post-production side - I totally love being behind the camera, it's a real creative thing to do!

    The wide angle lens makes all the difference. Nice use of color correction in photoshop, great shots.
