CONGRATULATIONS pride!!! What an upgrade!!! It's a very classy spec you have chosen, great choice!

Congratulations! I remember your fondness of this Ferrari model, so the early fulfillment of your objective must be very pleasing.  All the best  Smiley

With your chosen colour, you might like to consider the Bicolore option, with black roof. IMO it makes the car even more special and more dramatic.

That´s awesome, I do remember your appreciation for these cars. Happy to see that you can finally fulfill your dream! kiss

I personally find the std. rims too busy, the car itself is already featuring quite a few graphical elements on all sides. I seem to have seen a third rim variant on 458s lately, could it be that there is another option available recently?

Yes, but it is too expensive, especially after our crazy special consumer tax. Actually, my favorite wheel design is the one I had on my Competition pack M3. I really like the design of the standart rims. They should be just darker. If I don't like them after I got my car, I can always have better rims with less money I would pay for the other optional wheels.

    Reginos,

As you have just said, I'm in love with this car since day 1. I was in love with 430, too. I admired F355, but didn't like its interior even 15 years ago. Smiley I used to like the looks of F360 but after driving it, I didn't like the handling dynamics of the car. BUT since 430, Ferraris are also huge fun to drive.

Bicolor option is both too risky and too expensive. I can always have the roof wrap with folyo for a few hundred euros and can take it off when I'm bored.

Thank you for the kind words.Smiley

Very nice car, many congrats. Smiley

In grigio titanio the 458 will look really nice, cioccolato will fit perfectly with this exterior colour, I would prefer it over cuoio (with which you can't go wrong as well).

Have in mind that the standard wheels (great looking in dark shadow finish) are not directional, so you get four identical rims which will lead to a different visual appearance left side/right side of the car.

And try to get a decent discount BTW. Smiley

    Thank you Stefan.

I thought left and right wheels are different because of the directional design Smiley Anyway, I don't like the 5-Thin spokes sports rims design.

I was offered 3% discount. How much should I aim for?

See what I mean with the wheel design? Left side of the car looks correct, right side not so. This is due to four identical rims, not two for the wheels on the right and two for the wheels on the left, like that was the case with the similar 348 wheels for example.

IMO Ferrari is saving money in the wrong place here. Smiley

Regarding discount, nowadays, with the Berlinetta already out for two and a half years and the Spider on its way I would at least expect something like 5%.

Anyway, this should not affect your anticipation, but I hope you are lucky with the built quality of your car. Smiley

Congratulations Onur, it's a very special experience ordering your first Ferrari and I'm really, really pleased for you. The 458 will not disappoint you in any way.

The Cioccolato will work well against the Grigio Titanio. Cuoio would also look good if you decide to go that way. I had Cuoio on my Bianco Avus Cali.

Thank you Iain, especially for your help with choosing the right options Smiley I reserve my final judgement till I visit the Factory for color choice, but my wife liked the cioccolato more than cuoio and wants the interior that color. My only concern is that this color combo (titanio/cioccolate) may suit FF better ;)

I'm looking for your 1st Cali thread since yesterday, but still can't find it by the way.

    Stefan,

This is plain stupid, can't believe it. Anyway, we'll see when I get the car.

Thank you for the discount tip. I haven't finalized the price since I haven't confirmed the options. I have just confirm the built slot and received the first offer.

The standard rims don't look that good, somehow. The forged rims might be the better choice, perhaps?

    Congrats Onur,

Very nice specs. BUT, I would go for Chrome Shadow standard rims(honestly, I would order Grigio Ferro Sport rims). They look very nice(Stefan's 458 is equiped with them if I am correct).

BTW, I will also go for some Italian sportcars...

    Kreso,

I'm thinking of having the wheels painted in 430 Scuderia grey wheels color. Optional chrome shadow color is still a little bright for me.

BTW, while looking for the old 458 thread, I read that you have decided to buy on grigio titanio 458 italia. Why did you change your mind?

    Onur,

Problem was in local Ferrari dealer. They streched twice delivery time, in the end to over 10 months. That was something that I could not accept. So, I decided to skip 458.

Just... Economy changed pretty much lately... Currently 458 Italia waiting time is much, much shorter. I was very tempted again and almost pull the trigger. But, after some thinking I decided to get ultimate front engined Italian sportscar. Even my wife told me:"...if you want it that much do it."

Now, only one question remaims-Grigio Titanio or Grigio Ferro? Everything else is already decided. Rims will be Sport five spoke in Grigio Ferro finish(standard Black calipers).

I have watched this video. I guess I'm the only one who liked the standard rims, on the forum. Or I'm the only one who thinks the optional other wheels aren't worth the extra money.

Congratulations! if you are going with the Ferro rims  and black calipers then I would suggest sticking with the Grigio Ferro for the car as well for a more harmonious look.

I would also stick with Grigio Ferro. It is a deeper and richer grey tone than titanio. Sadly, it is an extra cost paint on 458. I don't like to pay premium for a paint. That was the only problem with Grigio ferro for me.

Thank you for your warm wishes. Today I confirmed my order. I made 2 changes on the specs.

    1) I got cuoio interior instead of chiccolate

    2) I got grigio chiaro stitching instead of scuro.

The car will be september built. Delivery will be at the end of september from Germany. So it will be in Istanbul by October.
