    I was driving the car with and without air suspension on the same day. Difference is like day and night. It is like driving a A-Class and after it a S-Class.... complete different level!

    They might be afraid the MT S will have many high end customers pass on the CTTS to get the MT S angry

    Seriously? I would still take a Cayenne Turbo over the Macan Turbo anytime but unfortunately my wife had a saying in this (which she seems to regret now because instead of one SUV, we ended up with two yes).

    Also, lease offers for a Cayenne Turbo are basically the same as for a well optioned Macan Turbo over here, so a no brainer (for me).

    Macan turbo was $93k. Equivalent Cayenne turbo $130k, let alone the TTS... No brainer. The PDK and lighter weight makes up for the 100hp deficit easily, I never drive above 80mph so more hp is not that useful...

    Wasn't too fan either of loosing $90k in only 4 years on the 09 CTTS on a $140k sticker... The Cayenne is simply priced way too high new... The Panamera is even worse.

    in USA, Sky can buy a 2014 CT S with 13k miles for 94k usd or less...  the one he's looking at is 175 new.   It makes no sense to buy a new CT S and lose 90k usd in one year

    2015 MTs are 74k$ usd   w 8k miles.... 

    pretty good deals given to overcharges on the new Ford raptor Sky really wants will be egregious

    If MT S was $115, Sky'd likely just buy a new one

    SciFrog - I hear you on the numbers vs value add differential, but let me offer a slightly different perspective in the spirit of discussion. For me the whole point of the SUV is space and practicality and the Macan ( for my personal needs) does not have enough space. Moreover , there is no PDCC and this makes a big difference in countries where the roads are not straight most of the time.The Macan Turbo is definitely more skittish and less stable than a Cayenne Turbo. Add the fact that we are all pretty much performance and power junkies that always ends up with a Cayenne Turbo or Turbo S ( Note I have not driven a Bentayga yet , which may now challenge the Cayenne Turbo S's supremacy). And for full disclosure I have ordered a Cayenne Turbo S as part of my return to the brand after missing out on the GT3 RS and almost certainly the 911 R.     Cray you have a lot of ammo angry  The TTS is still the ultimate sport SUV.

    The Macan is good enough for me and cheaper. Without the Macan I would be driving a Cayenne TT but not S since I con't use the extra power. I prefer to save some and allocate them to another car... I drive only 2 or 3 days a week anyway and use Uber the rest of the time broken heart

    Is the Cayenne updated with the new PCM?  To me it is absurd that the more premium and expensive of the two does not come with the latest entertainment tech.

    Unfortunately not  - which is a bummer. My fear when ordering was that it would be a month after mine arrives Smiley . Though the dealer thinks it will come with the next gen.

    The lease calculation looks a bit different over here. The Macan is in very high demand, the Cayenne not, so do the math. Used car prices for Cayenne Turbo/Turbo S are not that bad over here, if they achieve the prices they are asking for. My dealer has a 2012 Cayenne Turbo with 35k km for 75k EUR, which is an interesting deal. Facelift Turbos cost around 110-120k EUR with little mileage. Turbo S, even pre-facelift, aren't usually available under 115k EUR.

    I would have liked Agate  - but it is not available on the Cayenne TTS. Meteor is not bad though.

    Yes... But I don't need to. My Macan is red/black/carbon and it looks stunning. I have had several people saying it was the nicest interior they have ever seen on any car... The only problem is that it only works with dull exterior... But since the launch Macans only had dull exteriors...

    Do any of you "Insiders" have any info on the next generation like will it be based on the Audi Q6 platform?  My only complaint with my '14 Turbo is the lack of back seat leg room. Another  6" would be perfect..

    There is a simple solution to that: It is called Cayenne. Smiley

    After the next Cayenne generation arrives, the Macan could get a bit more leg room but before that? Very unlikely.

    Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you but I cannot post what you like to hear or do you really want me to? Smiley

    Porsche is very clever when doing business and offering upgrades to their models. You never get what you really want but you get enough to want to upgrade (or to choose another model in the brand family). Smiley There is a strategy behind this.

    The Macan isn't really much smaller than the Cayenne (compare length and width) and I am pretty sure that Porsche could have offered the same leg room as in the Cayenne with some tweaks but why would they do that? Don't they want to sell the Cayenne anymore? You get my point.
