    But I suspect the carrera S 385bhp sounds much much better, I want to see a video of the carrrera S or a soundfile......according to the official videos, the carrera S sounds much better and may be a little bit different vs the previous S version...

    I think PDK is a must!!!!

    ya manual is un paralelled. We gotta find out how the paddle shifter is in real life... seems a bit odd pressing bottons to shift... i'd stay with the stick thanks

    lol, I have to say it sounded great at high revvs !!! , BUT a carrera S MUST sound much much better !!!..

    Grant, that's just my opinion...just having a quick look to what PDK does, I think is the best way to go for....

    wow lovely sound for a standard exhaust! and i'm in love with PDK. Also the tester says that is better than DCT BMW transmission of BMW M3

    first time I've seen a good clip of a downshift. I don't like it.

    Not just because it may be "counter intuitive" - I can get used to the push-pull bassackwardness - its the fact that the downshift requires altering the location of your hand!

    Although its not as bad as removing a hand from the wheel and reaching down to the gear lever - it's still a disruption of the grip of the wheel - which takes away from the whole premise of double clutch and paddle interface - which is: shift as often as you like to maximize performance because there is basically no loss of control or interruption of power.

    I know it may sound knit-picky, but I am disapointed that it required moving a hand at all.

    I was wrong!!

    Autocar video shows that - if your fingers are long enough, you can wrap around the wheel and push backwards from the rear of the paddle.

    I hope that works out.
