    Sorry but I didn't take much photos because I was very busy driving it, either with the kids or my wife. Smiley

    No, interior was a lighter grey (not my thing really and I think a tan/brown interior would have been much nicer with that camouflage green color). Not a fan of metallic green, my wife actually hates these kind of colors but this time, she loved it. The matte version looks even more special but maybe a bit too aftermarket.

    Apple CarPlay...unfortunately my car (MY 2016) doesn't have it, this Spyder is MY 2017.

    Btw: This exact car is 1200 EUR per month (incl. 19% VAT), 36 months (10000 km per year), no down payment. Has only 2500 km (will be given away at 5000 km...officially Smiley). Quite an offer...my wife pays basically the same for her Cayenne S Diesel. Smiley

    The car looks amazing. Brown leather would suite it better, but Germans most of time buy black interiors.

    Car Play - I have it in my XC90 and dont use it anymore. Very poor system compared to the integrated features. So, don't worry about! ;)

    And yes - the offer is a great one. I can't wait to see my 27 buddies returning their cars in October. Most of them are extraordinary spec'ed and probably on the market for an equal low lease Smiley

    It has something to do with their bookkeeping and tax laws. Car needs to have 5000 km and needs to be registered to dealership at least three months. Most car manufacturers I know do the same. It is also very common in Germany to order a car to your specs, let the dealer register it to the dealership and use it as a test car for potential customers (many dealers allow you to run in the car the first 1000 km if you like) and then you can buy/lease it much much cheaper and you have the car with your specs for much less (savings are usually around 20% but can go up to 30% or more). Good system, especially if you plan to lease it and give it back after a couple of years anyway.

    Never heard of Ferrari or Lamborghini doing that though... Smiley

    My car had also 5000 km when they registered it to my name...officially 5000 km. Smiley Smiley

    A little hint for our German users: Right now, R8 offers are pretty good, especially for cars already available at dealerships. Actually, I think people were never able in the past to lease/buy such a car that cheap. Smiley

    Rear wing looks OK, rims too but everything else... enlightened 

    Audi claims that the downforce increases by 100(!) kg at 330 kph top speed and over 52 kg at only 150 kph, which unfortunately also means that the car will be slower in the upper speed range because of the increased downforce. Bummer. Maybe great for the track indeed but... yes

    Only interesting stuff are the coilover kit and the sport brake pads which improve braking performance (but are a bit noisier). Maybe also the new steering wheel, which (finally) is Alcantara and not that sensitive buckskin anymore (not that it helps me, I got myself the buckskin version and I need to use driving gloves with it).

    I am also curious about the new(?) sport tires for these new rims. I still suspect the current Cup 2 R01 but I hope that Audi improved the tires as well.

    Sure, I'm not disputing that this allows for people to get good deals on lightly-used cars, but all other things being equal, a shiny new car with 0km should be worth more than a used one with 5000km.  The dealer is intentionally destroying or writing off that additional value in order to get a (used car) sale.  The dealer gains no value from that 5000km of usage, aside from maybe some goodwill by lending it to people like you.  What does this tell us?  Basically there is only a real market for these cars at a used-car price, not the full price..

    Audi tried too hard with these add-ons, even if they may serve an aerodynamical purpose.

    One thing is interesting though: Suddenly, Audi seems to have remembered that there is a R8 in their model portfolio.

    Apparently they scratched the 2.9 l V6 Biturbo (for now) but this gives me hopes for a Huracan Performante equivalent. I already asked my dealer to put me down for a R8 GT if there is going to be one but I just hope that it will look different than the add-ons Audi Sport just presented.

    Why does the TT RS look more purposeful with the aero package than the R8?  While a bit OTT, it seems to work a bit better with the smaller car.

    Not quite as good but similar...I think 200 EUR more per month or so... (of course only if the dealer registers it to their dealership first). There was a V10 Plus Coupe offer for 1600 (incl. VAT) per month...older cars (Audi 24h Experience cars for example, they usually get new tires, new brake pads, etc.) are even available for less. All offers without down payment and incl. a five year warranty.

    If I would add that aero crap, you could be right. Smiley I don't plan to though...maybe the new brake pads. Bummer: I just got new brake pads for free because they have been improved (there was a clanking noise when they got hot).

    It is Audi not caring or whatever, this looks just hideous. This has nothing to do with function or German design, it is just embarrassing for a company and development team who actually put a car like the Performante on the road. Unbelievable. Smiley
