This color doesn't suite Panamera well IMO enlightened

Big cars don't look good in shiny colors...

Yeah, I don't know why they got rid of the yachting blue and kept this sapphire blue for the Panamera, it's just hideous.

    Re: OFFICIAL: New Panamera (2016)

White would look great, specially for the Dubai heat & also mimics the clean Mission E style I think

    Re: OFFICIAL: New Panamera (2016)

I like it in blue, the rear stripe cuts the color and makes it work, the black wheels ruin everything. That silver Panamera is soooo boring.

    Re: OFFICIAL: New Panamera (2016)

Silver looks much much better imo

That's the most boring shade ever created by human. Silver is not even a color.

Well, 4, counting the fully retracted position.

I totally agree! Yet, $hit loads of cars (in Europe) are ordered in that color because its easy for maintenance and repair. Graphite grey is much more classy, and very easy for maintenance.

Damned cool, that Turbo wingy thing.  Wish it were offered on the 4S, as the Turbo price may be beyond my sensible budget range ( though I love to be senseless and  extravagant)...

In high school I worked summers at a body and fender shop.  Silver is actually one of the hardest colors to match for a repaint as it ages subtly and is very susceptible to temperature and humidity when applying.  It is the easiest to keep clean though.

Cause silver is not actually a colour, it's a shade of the metal.................

    Re: OFFICIAL: New Panamera (2016)

Quick color adjustment and window tinting blush

    Re: OFFICIAL: New Panamera (2016)

Red looks great in pictures, but I can never quite pull the trigger on this choice. At least part of the reason is what interior color to choose. Don't really like Luxor beige or black  or gray, so that leaves me pretty well out of choices. Might be interesting to see black and chalk.

    Re: OFFICIAL: New Panamera (2016)

I like the interior and the new tech very much, but the exterior is still a bit "boaty" even though they solved most of the design issues. This car definitly needs to be in dark color!! These colors just does not look right yes. And 21" Turbo wheels are a must.

    Re: OFFICIAL: New Panamera (2016)

I love this plain grey color (and i hate silver metallic), guess because it's different and stands out.  Maybe also because i have my Cayenne in Sandweiss, an offwhite that was replaced by delivery van white that I don't like on the Cayenne..

    Re: OFFICIAL: New Panamera (2016)

In pictures, the darker colors do look better, probably because it makes it look smaller. Maybe, it will look better in colors like GT Silver in person, though.

I can't help wondering, though, if this new style rear light/Porsche logo combo, first on the 718s, now the Panamera, is not simply a device to keep people from removing the "P O R S C H E" logo from the car. Is it the case that this is not easily removed from the rear light strip?

PORSCHE letters are part of whole structure, so you cant remove them like before.

    Thanks, that's what I thought.

    Re: OFFICIAL: New Panamera (2016)

Looks good in that champagne color.

    Re: OFFICIAL: New Panamera (2016)

The black rear strip is a very cheap gimmick.

    Re: OFFICIAL: New Panamera (2016)

Oh, I didn't even notice that. Weird. Dunno why they didn't just do an actual light across the back.

    Re: OFFICIAL: New Panamera (2016)

Yes, this new design feature on the 718s and Panamera is a big mistake, I think. It looks cheap, cheesy, with the PORSCHE logo stuck on it, and it looks equally cheap and cheesy whether it's a black strip or lights, like a Dodge.

    Re: OFFICIAL: New Panamera (2016)

I hope it doesn't make it on the Macan FL and ruin that beauty...

Macan facelift will be part of new Porsche design layout, so expect same elements on Macan facelift like you saw on new Panamera.

    Re: OFFICIAL: New Panamera (2016)

PORSCHE lettering is a hark back to tradition a la 356 etc, maybe Im wrong, but in any case its quite unique among other marques and doesn't look cheap - but i suppose thats a matter of personal sensibility. It doesn't matter what we think in any case, thats the new design language
